We have great pleasure in inviting the students of your school to the ‘Bosco Fiesta 2016’, to be held on 16th  and 17th  of August 2016 at Don Bosco School, Alaknanda.
Bosco Fiesta” is an Interschool event organized by Don Bosco School to facilitate the coming together of talents from schools across Delhi NCR to interact with their peers, to explore new possibilities, to exhibit their abilities and to get recognized.

RULES FOR THE VARIOUS COMPETITIONS

DAY ONE:  Tuesday, 16th August 2016

MIME

This competition is for classes 6 to 12.

Only one team per school is allowed.

A team can have maximum 8 participants.

Each team will be given 3 minutes to enact the Mime.

The theme for the Mime can be Any relevant social issue.

Taped dialogues will not be allowed.

Stress on Facial Expression.

Props are allowed.

RANGOLI

This competition is for Classes 9 to 12.

Only one team per school is allowed.

Each team should have 3 participants.

The participants are required to bring their own material – flowers, coloured sawdust or rangoli colours.
Wet colours, paints etc are not permitted.

Each team will be allowed 2 hours.

The topic is: Rural India – The Face of Our Country.

Rangoli is to be made in the allotted rectangular space of dimensions
       1.8m x 1.3m.

The design should be genuine

The judgment will be based on the uniqueness of the design, depiction,  relevance, creativity, use of colours and cleanliness.

The use of support material, i.e, sketches, mobile phones etc is strictly  prohibited.  
     

 WESTERN DANCE       

 This competition is for classes 9 to 12.

Only one team per school is allowed.

Each team can have maximum 8 members.

Each team will get 3 minutes to perform on stage.

The dance form must be  JAZZ, CONTEMPORARY or HIP - HOP.

CDs, Pen drives, USB flash drives etc  are to be brought by the participating team

DAY TWO:  WEDNESDAY, 17th August 2016

     
WESTERN MUSIC
      
This competition is for Classes 9 to 12.
 Each school will be given 10 minutes on stage.
Each school will have to present
One solo         
One group song
Microphones and a drum set will be provided.
No teachers can perform on stage.
Prizes will be awarded for the best performance in the two categories: Solo and   Group. 
The solo singer can be accompanied by a maximum of two instrumentalists.
Each team can have maximum 10 participants including the soloist.
